African art plays a significant role by creating sculptures and paintings that inspired many artists. African art history indicates the earliest sculptures that were found in Nigeria that were dated around the 500 B.C.African art has been great importance in the 20th century and develop modern art in Europe and United States. Another ancient culture that was found in Nigeria was called the Ife they made beautiful African art pieces. The Nine bronze sculptures that were created by the Ife ( An African tribe in Nigeria) were found on a small island named Jebba along the Niger River. African Art is very interesting they do a lot of art that influenced others and many varieties of art too.
